Project Sigil
From 2024 to 2025 I worked on Project Sigil at Wizards of the Coast. I was on the gameplay team and worked primarily with Unreal’s Gameplay Ability System to implement a wide range of abilities for players to use in a multiplayer setting. I also worked closely with the art team and VFX/SFX artists to bring their art into the game and make sure it run smoothly with all the other systems. I was also the engineer in charge of importing and designing systems to handle the vast amounts of data in the game, and training up other engineers on those systems.
I’ve used Virtual Table Tops and played D&D since middle school, so this was very much a passion project as well as a job for me. I’m incredibly proud of what our team was able to achieve here. If you’re at all interested in that sort of thing, I’d recommend you check it out at the link below.
